 Project

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a team working on a greenfield recommendation system project. The initiative is being built from scratch, giving the team a high level of ownership over the architecture, data models, and overall solution design. You will work closely with business stakeholders and product teams to understand real problems and translate them into scalable data and machine learning solutions. The role involves building the data foundations for recommendation models, developing early MVP/POC versions, and iteratively improving the system based on real impact on advertisers.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong programming and data processing skills in Python and SQL

• Experience working with Git

• Practical experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow or similar)

• Ability to design and build data pipelines and data models supporting analytical or ML solutions

• Very good communication skills in Polish and English 

• Strong analytical thinking and conceptual approach to problem solving

• Nice to have

  • Experience working with recommendation systems

  • Basic knowledge of Linux

  • Experience with LLM-based solutions or conversational AI tools
