Data Analyst

Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on Financial Crime Prevention, supporting a large transformation programme in the banking sector. The role focuses on data profiling, analysis, and mapping across multiple financial crime domains such as AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality, support regulatory initiatives and ensure reliable information flows across systems.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Perform data profiling, mapping and analysis across multiple financial crime datasets
• Design data structures and support building small logical data models
• Create reports and dashboards in Power BI to support business decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders from IT, Architecture, Compliance, Legal and Business teams
• Support data governance, quality improvement and regulatory initiatives
• Work in a dynamic programme environment with evolving priorities

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong experience in data management, data quality or data analysis roles
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• Practical programming experience with Python, R, Java or Scala
• Understanding of financial crime domains such as AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring or Sanctions
• Ability to build simple data models and understand data taxonomy
• Strong communication skills when working with both technical and business stakeholders
