Application Security Specialist (IAM)

Salary: 1000-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an Expert Application Security Specialist to join an ongoing project focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM). Project activities are already well underway and part of a larger Program. The role requires a profile who has substantial experience in managing review/audit of application security and/or user access rights.

In this role, you will be key in onboarding and collaborating with stakeholders from both Business and IT to ensure that the newly designed IAM processes and solutions are well understood and adopted. You will become part of an already existing team, currently focusing on engaging and informing stakeholders, gathering and analyzing data while supporting and driving the process.

It is key that you have a collaborative mindset, an understanding of both Business applications, IT processes and IAM. Moreover, that you are able to support and challenge stakeholders at the same time, by leveraging your extensive experience with application management and/or development and IAM. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to quickly understand the context in which the different stakeholders work, while aligning it with the required project deliverables.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Stakeholder engagement, documentation gathering & analysis:

• Engage with stakeholders to align project objectives and initiate project efforts.

• Support and collaborate with Business and IT teams through interviews or workshops to identify and document as required for project deliverables.

• Conduct analysis and Quality Assurance on gathered documentation to identify needs for further documentation.

• Analysis of application security and user access management:

• Conduct analysis of access management and violations.

• Engage with Application and RACF/IAM subject matter experts, and formulate suggestions for mitigations.

• Facilitate the identification and remediation process for violations.

• Project Support & Change Management:

• Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting requirements and priorities.

• Assist in prioritizing efforts and managing scope changes.

• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field

• Proven experience as an Information Security Specialist, Application Owner or Application Manager, preferably within Identity & Access Management (IAM) or cyber security projects.

• Good understanding of applications, transactions and access management

• Self-driven and motivated with a collaborative mindset

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
