Project

---

In this role, you will support and enhance the company’s trading applications, working closely with traders, vendors, and technical teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex application issues, managing automation and modernization projects, maintaining monitoring setups, and ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems.

 

What you'll be doing 

• Being a part of dynamic and high pace team, that directly makes an impact on Company's trading applications
• Communicating with the vendor support teams
• Taking part in multiple projects for the area
• Translating business requirements into IT language and ensuring timely delivery
• Maintaining relations with stakeholders (Traders)
• Creating and updating knowledge base
• Maintaining and expending current server and application monitoring setup
• Managing automation projects for supported applications and working environment
• Constantly working on simplifying and modernizing supported applications
• Working with Incident, Change and Problem Management
• Taking care of more complicated issues, requiring involving more than one resolving groups
• Troubleshooting and resolving multi-level application issues

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proficiency in Windows OS Administration, including advanced system management, performance optimization, and troubleshooting (advanced level)
• Strong knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write queries, manage databases, and perform data analysis
• Competence in Linux/Unix OS Administration, including user management, file system handling, and process monitoring.
• Solid understanding of Networking, encompassing fundamental protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins, enabling the automation and optimization of software development and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to write and execute scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Batch for automation, system tasks, and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with the ITIL Framework, with knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices.
• Basic understanding or personal interest in Electronic Trading and its associated platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of the FIX Protocol for financial communication and trading systems (beginner level)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Geneos, Grafana, and Splunk, including basic diagnostics and monitoring tasks (begginer level)
