Senior Project Manager – Financial Data Transformation

Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office, 3 days remote)

As a Senior Project Manager – Financial Data Transformation, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing extensive regulatory and data transformation initiatives. In this role, you will oversee cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing data quality, compliance, and reporting accuracy. Your expertise will coordinate complex workstreams, align diverse global stakeholders, and deliver high-impact solutions within strict deadlines, supporting the ongoing evolution of financial data management.

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage global data-quality workstreams, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

• Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Change, and IT teams to ensure alignment with program goals.

• Ensure DAO processes and standards are followed throughout issue life cycles.

• Oversee precise logging of data-quality issues and ensure clear documentation of business problems.

• Facilitate issue handovers to upstream teams with comprehensive information for resolution.

• Lead testing activities, gather evidence for approvals, and support regulatory reviews.

• Monitor project progress, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget.

• Apply Agile methodologies, maintaining ceremonies and documentation.

• Lead communication with senior stakeholders, providing clear and effective updates.

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in large-scale change programs within complex systems environments.

• Strong knowledge of regulated financial institutions and industry standards.

• Proven track record managing global projects on time and on budget.

• Experience working with onshore and offshore teams in remote settings.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills from Executive Committee to analysts.

• Strong attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset.

• Hands-on experience applying Agile methodologies.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Experience working in a global matrix organization.

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with the client’s standards and internal processes.

• Experience working on regulatory or Skilled Person remediation programs.

• Background managing data-quality initiatives or reporting-related change projects.

  
  

Language required for the role:

• Fluent Polish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
