Senior IT Program Manager – Digital Banking Projects

As a Senior IT Program Manager – Digital Banking Projects, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector undergoing a continuous digital transformation. You will be an essential part of the IT Delivery Office, overseeing strategic retail business initiatives across multiple IT structures, known as "boxes." In this role, you will collaborate closely with IT and business teams to ensure transparency, consistency, and successful delivery. Your mission will be to monitor, guide, and optimize delivery processes, proactively ensuring the timely delivery of products across various IT teams in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coordinate the delivery of business initiatives within IT BOXes to meet organizational goals

• Support decision-making by providing data-driven insights and comprehensive analysis

• Present recommendations and evaluate the impact of various delivery options

• Collaborate on innovative scope adjustments to meet critical deadlines

• Ensure delivery efforts align with strategic organizational plans

• Work closely with Box Owners, IT teams, and Business Strategy Office to drive progress

• Collect, analyze, and share data on planning, progress, and team structures

• Monitor key process metrics and performance indicators continuously

• Participate in optimizing delivery processes and implementing best practices

• Drive continuous improvement across software delivery and initiative portfolios

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Delivery Manager, IT Program Manager, or Technical Project Manager

• Proven success in leading and delivering complex IT initiatives within high-stakes environments

• Ability to creatively adjust project scope in collaboration with business units

• Experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations

• Proficiency with project, portfolio, and data analysis tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Power BI)

• Strong data analysis skills supporting strategic business decisions

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Polish or English

• Knowledge of both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive mindset and excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)

• Experience in digital banking projects or fintech environments

Language Required for the role:

• Communicative proficiency in Polish and English
