As a Data Engineer – Financial Services, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the financial industry dedicated to delivering impactful, data-driven solutions. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into reliable data solutions.

• Optimize existing data systems for performance, security, and compliance within financial services regulations.

• Ensure data integrity and quality through meticulous validation and troubleshooting.

• Support data integration processes across various platforms and databases.

• Stay informed on the latest data engineering trends and tools relevant to the financial sector.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of data governance and security standards.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience working in data engineering or related fields.

• Strength in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Understanding of financial industry data standards and regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies.

• Certifications in data engineering or related fields.

• Knowledge of financial products or banking systems.

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English (both written and spoken).
