Network Administrator

Warsaw based opportunity with hybrid work model (1-2 days/month in the office).

As a Network Administrator you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, supporting and maintaining critical data center infrastructure. You will join a dynamic IT environment responsible for ensuring uninterrupted network performance, diagnosing issues, and implementing improvements to enhance system reliability. This role involves both operational monitoring and participation in development projects, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the bank’s digital transformation while working closely with internal teams to deliver stable and secure network solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor network infrastructure within the data center

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Support internal clients with daily operational needs

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures

• Participate in infrastructure and development projects

• Implement network changes and improvements

• Ensure high availability and performance of LAN/WAN systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to optimize workflows

• Adhere to internal standards and security procedures

• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Higher education in computer science or a technical field

• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT or network administration

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies

• Experience with installation of IT equipment in data centers

• Familiarity with Windows and/or Red Hat operating systems

• Ability to create technical documentation and procedures

• Good command of English (able to read and understand technical documentation)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

• Willingness to learn and openness to change

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure solutions available on the market, particularly in the areas of network technologies and security solutions

• Practical knowledge of dynamic routing protocols, SDN solutions, cloud technologies, VPN services, NGFW technologies, and ADC solutions

• Experience in designing and implementing systems based on Enterprise-class solutions

• Understanding of High Availability / Disaster Recovery concepts

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and orchestration topics

• Highly developed analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions, think conceptually, and present analyses

• Proactive approach to proposing solutions, engagement, and goal-oriented attitude
