Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Mid-Level Technical Product Owner for Service Orchestration & Automation, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to transforming its operational capabilities. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle and success of HSBC's orchestration platform, shaping how complex business processes are automated and integrated across the organization. This role offers a unique chance to influence enterprise-level solutions that enhance operational resilience, compliance, and customer experience, fostering your growth at the forefront of FinTech innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Own the capability vision, outcomes, and roadmap, ensuring alignment across build, run, and continuous improvement phases.
  • Manage demand intake, prioritize stakeholder needs, and balance feature delivery with platform health, resilience, and security.
  • Define and monitor measurable outcomes (OKRs/KPIs/SLAs), driving data-driven continuous improvement.
  • Ensure work is well-defined through epics/stories with clear acceptance criteria and NFRs, employing agile/lean practices.
  • Collaborate with operations and service management to enhance incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Lead stakeholder communication during major incidents and oversee post-incident review processes.
  • Ensure platform compliance aligns with HSBC’s Risk & Controls Framework and regulatory standards.
  • Understand customer journeys to improve onboarding times and usability via standards and self-service initiatives.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3–7 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or in senior engineering/operations roles with strong product ownership.
  • Hands-on knowledge of enterprise workflow automation and orchestration concepts in large-scale environments.
  • Proven ability to manage a technical backlog with clear epics/stories, prioritize technical debt, and deliver outcomes.
  • Solid experience in production operations: incident/problem/change management, monitoring, capacity planning, and resilience.
  • Background working in regulated environments with a strong sense of risk, controls, audit, and security requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, bridging communication between engineers, operations, architecture, and senior leadership.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications or experience in Agile, Scrum, or similar project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of financial services or banking industry standards.

Language Required for the role :

  • Fluent English, with excellent communication skills.
