As a Mid-Level Network Operations Incident Manager – Connectivity & Telecoms, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution committed to delivering seamless network and call center infrastructure across 55 countries. This role offers a unique chance to influence infrastructure stability, drive incident resolution, and implement continuous service improvements on a truly international scale.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive and own the resolution of service-impacting issues on operational technology infrastructures.
- Provide Incident Management support for Telecoms Technologies when needed.
- Collaborate with IT teams and Incident Management during crisis situations.
- Operate as part of a global team of Service Operations managers on a "follow the Sun" basis.
- Review and analyze connectivity incidents, implementing best practices for improvement.
- Lead efforts to reduce infrastructure outages and prevent repeat failures.
- Chair or support Connectivity Incident Post-Incident Review meetings.
- Ensure global standards are established and followed.
- Work with Service Providers to ensure contractual service delivery.
- Provide on-call support on a rotational basis (financially rewarded).
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations, incident management, or related fields.
- Strong incident management skills in a technical environment.
- Technical background in networks (preferred but not essential).
- A strong drive to improve and optimize services.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience working within ITIL and Agile frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively at all business levels.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Certifications in network technologies or incident management.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (excellent command required).
