Fullstack Developer (Kotlin + React)

Remote work model, Warsaw-based opportunity with full remote flexibility up to 5 days a week.

As a Fullstack Engineer – Cloud and Data-Driven Microservices, you will be working for our client, a leader in building intelligent ecosystems that support advertisers on Allegro Ads. Your role will contribute to developing advanced recommendation systems, automating campaign management, and creating scalable tools to help businesses grow. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Kotlin and Spring Boot within a cloud environment, primarily GCP.

• Build and optimize scalable APIs powering dashboards, benchmarks, and recommendation engines.

• Collaborate with data scientists to implement personalized recommendation and ML-driven solutions.

• Contribute to processing large data volumes using event-driven architectures and cloud computing platforms.

• Create and maintain responsive, accessible microfrontends with React, TypeScript, and related technologies.

• Write robust, testable code utilizing tools like Jest, Vitest, or Playwright, ensuring high performance and usability.

• Work within an Agile environment, continuously improving system architecture and deployment pipelines.

• Engage in code reviews, mentoring, and collaborative problem-solving to foster technical excellence.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in fullstack development, preferably with cloud-native microservices.

• Strong programming skills in Kotlin (backend) and TypeScript (frontend).

• Proficiency with React, CSS/HTML, and microfrontend architecture.

• Experience working with cloud ecosystems, especially GCP.

• Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB and SQL.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven systems, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with agentic coding tools like Copilot/OpenCode is a plus.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certification or experience with cloud architecture or data processing (e.g., GCP certifications).

• Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) standards and performance optimization techniques.

Language required for the role:

• Excellent command of Polish and English (both written and spoken).
