Fullstack Developer (.NET+Blazor)

For a client we are looking for a Fullstack Developer!  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own features end-to-end, from UI through API and database
• Contribute to the modernisation of the live product across .NET Framework, Vue.js, and Classic ASP - improving stability, shipping features, and helping migrate functionality to newer services
• Build and evolve backend services and APIs using .NET
• Contribute to new UI in Blazor and to cloud-oriented, service-based components
• Collaborate on system design, balancing scalability, security, maintainability, and pragmatism
• Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and help raise engineering standard
• Integrate third-party services and APIs
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling to deliver changes safely and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience (3+ years) as a full-stack developer working across backend and frontend systems
• Strong experience with .NET (C#), including ASP.NET Core, and comfort working in .NET Framework where the codebase requires it
• Experience with Blazor, particularly for component-based web applications
• Experience with Vue.js or React would be advantageous
• Hands-on experience with Classic ASP, or a strong willingness to work in it day to day
• Proficiency with JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL or SQL Server) and writing efficient queries
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• A problem-solving mindset and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to engineering

NICE TO HAVE

• Familiarity with AWS, including deploying/operating applications using Kubernetes (EKS), would be advantageous
• Experience implementing and extending .NET services and APIs, with comfort working in microservices-style or distributed environments, is beneficial
• Experience with component-level testing and UI automation using Playwright would be beneficial
