Cloud DevOps Engineer – Cloud Security Automation

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer – Cloud Security Automation, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution committed to transforming its cloud security and automation landscape. You will play a pivotal role in deploying and integrating Wiz across complex cloud and container environments, contributing to a secure, efficient, and automated platform. Your efforts will focus on streamlining operations through automation, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and delivering innovative solutions via infrastructure-as-code and scripting—driving security and compliance initiatives at scale.

Your main responsibilities:

• Deliver and manage the Wiz platform to automate daily security operations

• Automate user onboarding, policy updates, and tenant migrations within Wiz

• Onboard new cloud and container accounts into the Wiz platform

• Create integrations with CI/CD pipelines, container registries, and ticketing systems

• Develop custom reports using Wiz API, GraphQL, and scripting languages

• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code for Wiz deployment and configuration

• Contribute to documentation including security runbooks and policy-as-code references

• Update and patch the Wiz management plane and its infrastructure

• Support integration with downstream reporting tools and API provisioning

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Wiz operations

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 3 years of experience in cloud and DevOps environments

• Proven expertise in automating Wiz platform tasks, including role and user management

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages

• Experience with cloud providers such as GCP or AWS

• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Helm

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CloudRun, or AWS System Manager

• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills related to Wiz and cloud-native environments

• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams on platform projects

• Solid documentation and communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Google Cloud services such as CloudRun in production

• Knowledge of GraphQL and Wiz API for custom reporting workflows

• Exposure to large-scale Wiz deployments and multi-cloud setups

• Background in security policy automation and incident workflows

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English
