C# Banking Systems Developer – Digital Banking

Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 times in the office/month).

As a C# Banking Systems Developer – Digital Banking, you will be working for our client, a leading digital-first financial institution focused on developing and maintaining critical banking platforms that support both corporate and retail operations. You will contribute to a long-term project aimed at enhancing the Central Banking System and its satellite applications, delivering resilient, secure, and scalable technologies to transform banking experiences. Operating in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features, maintain existing modules, and ensure reliable banking operations.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop software using C# and occasionally jBASIC to deliver innovative banking solutions

• Build and maintain functionalities in the Central Banking System and supporting satellite systems

• Create and sustain automated tests, including unit, functional, end-to-end, and performance testing

• Ensure code quality and apply best engineering practices to maintain high standards

• Collaborate with business and system analysts to clarify requirements and deliver user-focused solutions

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience in software development, preferably in fintech or banking environments

• Strong knowledge of C# / .NET Framework

• Solid understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL

• Practical knowledge of software design patterns

• Willingness to deepen your expertise in both IT and banking domains

• Higher education in computer science or attendance in the final year of studies

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Readiness for continuous learning and active contribution to a collaborative culture

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• jBASIC knowledge

• Knowledge of banking products and Temenos Globus/T24

• Experience with SPA frameworks such as Angular

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices

• Understanding of REST API implementation with security, performance, and scalability in mind

• Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
