Automation Tester (Snowflake)

As an Automation Tester (Snowflake), you will work for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to building robust and secure data pipelines. This project involves enhancing and automating the quality assurance processes for critical data transformations within their advanced data platform. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of vast datasets, directly contributing to the client's ability to make data-driven decisions and maintain their high standards of operational excellence in the financial sector. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing comprehensive automation strategies that streamline testing efforts and elevate data quality.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute automated ETL test scripts
• Develop and implement test automation frameworks for ETL processes
• Perform data validation, integration and end-to-end automated testing in Snowflake environments
• Identify, analyze and report bugs, performance issues and data inconsistencies
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts and business teams to ensure high quality data pipelines
• Leverage SQL and scripting languages to optimize and automate the testing process
• Ensure compliance with data management, security and quality standards

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 5 years of automation testing experience
• A minimum of 2 years of ETL testing experience, with a focus on automation
• Good knowledge of SQL and the Snowflake data platform
• Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
