As an Agile Coach, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to fostering a data-driven culture through governance, training, and sustainable capabilities. You will play a key role in deploying Agile Ways of Working within the organization’s Data & Analytics Office (DAO). Your focus will be on facilitating Agile adoption, delivering Agile training, and supporting teams through coaching. You will be responsible for driving the transition from traditional waterfall methodologies to Agile frameworks, ensuring teams are equipped to maximize efficiency and innovation in a complex, high-profile environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting the adoption of Agile methodologies across the organization
- Delivering Agile training sessions and refining training content as needed
- Coaching teams and leadership on Agile practices and principles
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including retrospectives, Sprint, and PI Planning
- Supporting particular Team roles (Scrum Master/Product Owner/Development Team)
- Enabling teams to self-organize and continuously improve Agile practices
- Managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating communication between teams
- Conducting Agile-related assessments such as proficiency and maturity evaluations
- Navigating complex legacy systems and processes to implement Agile effectively
- Designing and evolving Agile Ways of Working Roadmaps, training plans, and coaching models
- Promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture within Agile teams
- Proactively participating in designing the Agile Ways of Working Roadmap, Proficiency Assessment, Training Plan, Coaching model, and Support/Service model
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an Agile Coach - must have
- Proven experience in data-related change, preferably in financial services - must have
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean and Design Thinking
- Experience facilitating Agile transformations, particularly from Waterfall to Agile
- Ability to adapt Agile and Scrum practices to data change initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Agile management tools like Jira and Confluence
- Strong stakeholder management and governance experience
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to lead and motivate Agile and cross-functional teams
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification
- Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working in a global matrix organization
- Understanding of the financial institution standards and processes
- Exposure to enterprise-scale Agile transformations
