Senior QA Automation Engineer (C#)

Our team is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for one of our clients.

The client is a global technology company operating several wafer fabrication facilities across different regions. These fabs handle the complete end-to-end production process for Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) components, which are essential for filtering specific frequencies in wireless communication systems.

They are working on exciting new projects that can assist in digitalizing the manufacturing process in a global production environment.

As a software test engineer, you would become a part of a cross-functional agile team to ensure high quality for each product that they release. As part of this team, you would be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of their products, starting with the requirements definition until the product delivery.

The focus of the projects is to work and act as a team in the agile software development approach to get the best for business and IT.

Technical stack on the project: Azure DevOps, Playwright, Gherkin, SQL, JMeter, project codebase is in Vue.js / JS, .NET, Node.js

Tasks:

• review business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications to define test strategy and test plan;

• lead the effort to automate manual test cases;

• be involved throughout the entire development life cycle, from requirements definition to product delivery;

• participate in “3 amigos” meetings. Pair with the product owner and developers to create acceptance criteria;

• design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks;

• mentor developers to write testable software;

• assess and implement tools and processes for automated testing;

• advocate and promote a quality culture across the organization;

• take ownership and feel responsible for the product as a whole;

• have a strong mindset to achieve quality through automation and technical solutions.

Need To have: 

• deep knowledge and understanding of the Agile development and testing processes;

• experience in creating UI automated tests using Selenium/Playwright or similar tools;

• experience in API testing using Postman, RestSharp or any other tools;

• knowledge in BDD/TDD methodologies and hands-on experience in Gherkin;

• experience in CI/CD processes;

• programming knowledge in C# and good knowledge of SQL;

• experience in non-functional testing – performance testing with Jmeter or any similar tools.

• English: Upper-Intermediate

Nice to have:

• knowledge of Azure DevOps;

• knowledge on Manufacturing Execution Systems.
