QA Engineer automation

Team main objective is to create added value for Client customers through digital innovations and simplified customer-oriented service offerings and at the same time to improve efficiency of operation processes and increase sales potential (On- and Offline). SAFe methodology has been implemented in June 2019. Development is based on Program Increment / Features.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Designing and executing API tests for microservices architectures to ensure seamless service communication.

• Integrating automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality gates.

• Collaborating with developers during daily Agile/Scrum standups to understand new features and map out automation strategies before coding begins.

• Analyzing test execution results and debugging flaky tests or failures by inspecting application logs, network traffic, and database states.

• Reporting and tracking defects in Jira, providing developers with detailed reproduction steps, logs, and video recordings of failures.

• Performing non-functional testing such as contract testing for microservices and basic performance checks to maintain system reliability.

Requirements:

• Polish – C2, English C1

• at least 5 years of proven experience in manual testing 

• excellent attention to detail with a natural curiosity to question and validate functionality 

• strong analytical and critical thinking skills 

• ability to understand an application holistically and consider its interactions beyond obvious workflows 

• good communication skills to document findings and discuss issues effectively
