Automation Tester (Python, Robot)

Client: banking industry

Hourly Rate: up to 115 PLN + VAT

Work arrangement: hybrid, 2 days per week in Warsaw/Gdynia/Gdansk/Lodz office

For Client from banking industry we are looking for two Automation Testers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.

• Develop, optimize and execute automated test suites for web (UI) and API applications.

• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts and DevOps engineers to integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins / Git / Bitbucket).

• Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA and manage test cases in qTest.

• Ensure alignment with QA standards and testing strategy across multiple environments (pre-prod, UAT, prod).

• Participate in code reviews, test strategy planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support manual testers by identifying high-value areas for automation and ensuring maintainability of test assets.

Skills:

• 3–6 years of experience in test automation (UI and API focus ).

• Proven hands-on experience in Robot Framework and Python programming.

• Good understanding of test automation design patterns (Page Object Model, keyword-driven approach).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and test management systems (qTest, JIRA).

• Practical knowledge of REST API testing and tools (Postman, Swagger, REST libraries).

• Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and Agile (Scrum / SAFe) processes.

• Solid communication skills and fluency in English (B2+ level or higher).

• Experience in the banking or financial services domain will be a strong advantage.

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:

• Knowledge of Selenium Library integration within Robot Framework.

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).

• Basic understanding of test automation metrics and reporting tools (Allure, Grafana, etc.).

• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification.
