Senior QA Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clear quality criteria, test scenarios, and acceptance standards, ensuring reliable, user-friendly, and high-performing web solutions. You will act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle, playing a crucial role in our e-commerce projects by helping deliver seamless and engaging experiences for our clients.

In addition, you will have various daily assignments covering areas such as manual functional and exploratory testing, test case creation and execution, UI/UX validation, cross-browser and regression testing, defect identification and follow-up, as well as close collaboration with developers and product stakeholders to ensure consistently high-quality web and commerce solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

As a Senior QA Engineer, you are experienced within manual quality assurance for modern web solutions and are passionate about delivering high-quality, user-centric digital experiences. Through your professionalism and strong domain knowledge, you take ownership of quality and contribute proactively to strong collaboration and continuous improvement.

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of QA experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Engineer in complex web-based applications (preferably e-commerce).

• Expert-level manual testing skills, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing.

• Proven experience designing test strategies for web applications and REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of web technologies and architecture, allowing for effective collaboration with engineering teams.

• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Git.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and product stakeholders.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Additional nice-to-have's:

• ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced).

• Educational background in Computer Science or a related technical field.
