Job description:  

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA automation engineer to join our dynamic team based in France and Sosnowiec (3-4 developers and a lead dev). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application testing and testing automation tools. You will be responsible for analyzing application specifications, designing test plans and developing automated tests for cloud Web applications.

The ideal candidate will have solid programming experience with test frameworks, a passion for technology and a constant desire to learn and improve.

Responsibilities: 

·        Analyze and understand the Web application specifications and functionalities

·        Collaborate with project managers and development teams to develop effective strategies and test plans, in an agile (SCRUM) team

·        Collaborate with ERP and CRM teams (IT and business people) to set and run functional tests across applications

·        Develop automated tests in Typescript using Playwright framework

·        Run manual and automated test cases on multiple devices and browsers

·        Integrate automated tests in the CI/CD process

·        Create different type of tests: E2E, performance testing, load testing, regression testing...

·        Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in troubleshooting issues

·        Create and maintain documentation related to automated testing

·        Generate test results and test coverage reports

Requirements: 

·        Bachelor's degree in computer science, software/quality engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

·        1+ year of professional experience as a QA automation engineer or equivalent

·        Strong knowledge of Typescript (or modern Javascript)

·        Strong knowledge of Playwright framework (or similar: Cypress, Selenium, Nightwatch.js...)

·        Advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS

·        Advanced English level (B2+)

Nice-to-haves: 

·        Experience with REST APIs and related tools (curl, Postman…)

·        Experience with cross browser testing platforms (Browserstack, Saucelabs…)
