The last few years have seen a significant increase in the importance of digital in the Commerce space at Heineken. HEINEKEN’s digital solutions are a vital component in protecting and growing the company's revenue. To ensure that this trend is supported the Commerce DevOps Hub has been established. This newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with engineering the software which powers e-Commerce. The Commerce DevOps Hub location is in Kraków, Poland.

As the DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the global deployment team responsible for DevOps environment operation, including release automation for in-house products. Collaborating closely with Solution Engineers and Deployment Lead and other DevOps teams you will need to understand the technical and business needs, helping to convert those needs into successful deployments for our OpCo’s. Driving excellence in engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the software deployment lifecycle in our Commerce IT landscape, will be an important element of your role.

Your responsibilities would include:

• developing automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software applications. utilizing infrastructure automation tools to provision and manage cloud infrastructure resources in a scalable and repeatable manner. driving operational excellence by implementing automation, monitoring, and performance optimization strategies. implementing robust monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our systems
• documenting CI/CD processes, guidelines, and best practices for future reference. supporting proper knowledge transfer to service delivery and OpCo teams
• working with the Senior Solution Engineer to ensure an appropriate CI/CD process is in place and followed. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments
• staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in key technologies in our landscape.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• 5+ years of working experience in the similar position managing DevOps in large multi nationals
• at least 2-3 years of experience with many of the above-mentioned technologies
• hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• proficiency in DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD, IaC, monitoring
• strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work
• effectively in a team environment
• knowledge about security best practices for cloud-based environment
• pragmatic, and collaborative team player approach
• excellent written and verbal English.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE or F&O or Contact Centre)
• JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js)
• GraphQL / Apollo
• Loyalty Solutions (i.e. Epsilon)
• Payment platforms (i.e. process out)
• CTI Solutions (i.e. Genesys)
• SAP
• Middleware solutions (i.e. Boomi or MuleSoft).
