    This role is part of the D&T department of HEINEKEN International. D&T is proud to bring cutting-edge innovation, strong technology, and advanced analytics to HEINEKEN. With speed and agility, we ensure HEINEKEN has the technological competitive advantages it needs to deliver on its ambition.

     

    The role in as part of the European Data & AI Hub is critical in Heineken to operationalise our strategy of standardised and scalable data foundations across the region and enterprise. The role holder will work with colleagues across Heineken as part of a team delivering harmonised datasets for business use cases. As such we are looking for an experienced business analyst professional who has good technical awareness and experience of working on data driven initiatives.

     

    It is essential that the role holder delivers analysis and execution that considers, and illuminates, the interaction between process, data and technology.

     

    Furthermore, the candidate will build strong relationships and collaborate tightly with members of the broader HEINEKEN data organisation including Insight Enablement, Data Management and Global Analytics and various programs across the central, regional and Operating Company (OpCo) structures.

     

    In particular, he/she will partner with a growing group of data professionals such as Data Engineers and Data Scientists, who play a crucial role in the development and delivery of data services to scale Analytic Products.

     


    Your responsibilities would include:

     

    • working closely with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize data needs, defining requirements for analytical data products, and ensuring alignment on deliverables and expectations.
    • converting business requirements into detailed technical specifications, workflows, and user stories for the development team, ensuring clarity and feasibility
    • acting as a key liaison between business units, data engineering, and product teams to maintain transparency and communication among stakeholders within the domain of influence
    • partnering with data engineers and data scientists to design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable data products that meet business needs
    • performing and communicating data analysis that drives business impact, documenting data workflows, pipelines, and integrations to ensure product scalability and efficiency
    • coordinating the day-to-day operations of an agile squad, actively participating in the prioritization and delivery of technical requirements, and managing relationships with internal partners and external consultants
    • discovering opportunities proactively to build business value through improved data quality, and support data governance initiatives to ensure compliance, data quality, and security for all data products
    • defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products and facilitate user testing sessions for stakeholders to ensure successful adoption
    • providing mentorship to other Business and Data Analysts within the domain of influence, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

     

     

    You are a good candidate if you have:

     

    • experience and skills: proficiency in business analysis, preferably in data-driven environments or on data-centric products
    • collaboration and communication: strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical audiences
    • project management: experience in managing projects, organizing workshops, and working with Agile methodologies
    • problem-solving and analytical skills: strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform and deliver analysis using SQL and Excel
    • adaptability and flexibility: ability to adapt and learn quickly within differing OpCo data realities
    • technical literacy in data sourcing, cleansing, and validation
    • data management: experience in managing and analysing large datasets, improving, and automating existing data processes, and creating scalable data processes across domains
    • domain knowledge and industry expertise: experience in commerce, with understanding of promotion management processes (preferably within FMCG sector)
    • technical Implementation: understanding of the technical implementation of data-powered products
    • technical organization skills: understanding of IT delivery processes
    • prioritization: ability to prioritize technical requirements to deliver business value at speed
    • vision and goals: maintaining a long-term vision while delivering short-term goals
    • proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools: proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI is a plus.
