We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to keep our customer’s services reliable, scalable, and secure. You will work with developers to optimize applications, prevent issues before they affect users, and improve service quality. Our environment includes AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, React/Node.js, Python, Golang, and Datadog.
We seek an engineer with strong software development and infrastructure skills, deep AWS and Kubernetes experience, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. If you enjoy building resilient systems, defining best practices, and collaborating on high-impact services, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Managing SLA/SLO for business services and continuous improvements in reliability and quality of those services
Optimizing applications and services while addressing and preventing issues before they impact users
Working with environment to manage based on: React/NodeJS, Python and Golang, infrastructure services build on AWS Cloud, observability build primary on Datadog
Improving reliability and quality of business services
Collaborating to define requirements, standards, and technical roadmaps
Helping implement effective security and reliability monitoring
Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases
Providing technical support to resolve complex and critical issues
Defining and communicating standards and best practices
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, audit requirements, and data protection laws
Requirements
5+ years of demonstrated experience as DevOps/SRE including experience in software development
Experience in a language such as Python/Golang (or another) and automation tool experience (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platform
Experience in building/deploying applications from source control and knowledge of CI/CD concepts
Ability to reverse engineer solutions with understanding them
Understanding of Agile software development and management tools such as Jira
Deep understanding and practice with Kubernetes
Experience with relational and non relational databases
Familiar with managing web applications and modern APIs
Ability to understand and troubleshoot errors in builds and assist in troubleshooting applications
