Job description
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
1 year of experience with Generative AI.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a technical related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with tech leads to design and implement the developer tools and platform for customers of Google Cloud Platform.
Define and execute on support technical goals and road-map for the team.
Work with our customers (external customers and client teams) to improve user experience.
Communicate across engineering, product teams and client teams.
Balance product thinking, development, and continuous delivery.
