Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) for backend services

• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with React.js and its ecosystem

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems

• Collaborate effectively with client development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and support

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, design patterns)

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in .NET, React, and cloud computing

Requirements

Required skills & qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in commercial development

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET (ideally .NET 6+)

• Demonstrable experience with modern frontend development using React.js

• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory for effective collaboration within international client teams

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework Core)

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn new technologies and processes

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure. This could include experience with services like App Services, Azure Functions, EC2, Lambda, S3, Blob Storage, etc.

• Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) will also be considered

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of microservices architecture

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks
