Java Developer

The role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to build connectors between Confluent and major SaaS applications. You’ll work on high-impact integrations, ensuring smooth data flow and scalable solutions.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain connectors/integrations between Confluent and major SaaS applications.

• Implement high-quality, maintainable code following best practices in Java, Spring, and Hibernate.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Write unit and integration tests using TDD principles (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).

• Build and deploy applications using Maven or Gradle.

• Containerize applications with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience.

• Strong experience in Java and Spring framework.

• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and ORM frameworks.

• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) with JUnit and Mockito.

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Understanding of integration patterns and working with SaaS applications.

• Comfortable working in a bilingual setting (Polish B2+ and English B2+)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, optionally Azure) and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in designing scalable, distributed systems.

Please note that this is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
