IBMi Software Engineer

Location: Wrocław (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)
Contract: B2B
Rate: 180–200 PLN/h + VAT
Start: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible

We’re looking for an experienced IBMi Software Engineer to join a dynamic product‑focused team. You’ll work on developing, enhancing, and supporting IBMi applications while contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge‑sharing across the chapter.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement high‑quality IBMi software solutions.

• Maintain and enhance IBMi‑hosted applications.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across a multicultural, distributed environment.

• Ensure readiness and stability of services on the IBMi platform.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Monitor system performance and propose optimizations.

• Share best practices and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years as an IBMi Developer or Application Analyst.

• Strong skills in ILE RPG (including free‑form) and ILE CL.

• Solid experience with Java SE.

• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.

• Hands‑on experience with IBM MQ.

• Proficiency in RDi, VS Code, Git, GitHub.

• Familiarity with Turnover, ARCAD for DevOps, Azure DevOps.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• SQL expertise.

• Experience with XML and JSON (processing from RPG/DB2).

• Good spoken and written English.
