About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Full Stack Development Lead with over 15 years of software engineering experience, strong architectural capabilities, and deep hands‑on expertise in React, C# .NET Core, Python (pyspark), and Power BI.

This senior leadership role combines technical ownership, solution architecture, and hands-on engineering within a complex capital markets environment. Experience with credit risk, market risk, microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern CI/CD practices is essential.

You will collaborate closely with teams across risk, data, and product functions while shaping technology strategy and driving engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end full‑stack solutions (React + C# .NET Core).

• Own architectural vision for microservices, APIs, cloud-native deployments, and event-driven systems.

• Provide technical oversight for pyspark-based data pipelines and Power BI reporting solutions.

• Establish engineering standards, coding best practices, patterns, and documentation guidelines.

• Review solution designs, performance optimizations, and critical architectural decisions.

Team & Delivery Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop full stack developers, data engineers, and BI developers.

• Foster a high-performance engineering culture focused on quality, automation, and innovation.

• Partner with product owners, risk SMEs, and data teams to shape technical roadmaps and delivery strategy.

• Oversee sprint planning, timelines, workload management, and cross-team collaboration.

• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodology and drive continuous improvement.

Technical Execution

• Build scalable, maintainable front-end applications using React and TypeScript.

• Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using C# .NET Core.

• Oversee enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, semantic models, data modelling, and DAX.

• Design and implement pyspark workflows for risk analytics, data quality, and automation.

• Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deployment, monitoring).

• Support cloud engineering initiatives (preferably Azure), including containerization and orchestration.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Expertise

• 15+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in leadership or engineering lead roles.

• React / Front-end:

  • Advanced knowledge of React, TypeScript, component architecture, and state management.

• C# .NET Core / Backend:

  • Deep expertise in C#, API design, microservices, distributed systems.

• Python (pyspark):

  • Experience with scalable distributed data pipelines and analytics integrations.

• Power BI:

  • Strong hands-on experience in dashboarding, modelling, DAX, governance, and performance tuning.

• Architecture:

  • Proven ability to design cloud-native, microservice, and event-driven architectures.

• DevOps / CI/CD:

  • Strong knowledge of automated pipelines, release engineering, and deployment strategies.

• Cloud (Azure preferred):

  • Experience with App Services, Functions, Storage, Event Hub, Azure DevOps, Databricks.

• Databases:

  • Strong SQL skills, data modelling, and performance optimization across relational and NoSQL.

• Containers:

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of capital markets, particularly:

  • Credit Risk: PD, LGD, EAD, counterparty exposure, credit decisioning.

  • Market Risk: VaR, sensitivities, stress testing.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, FRTB, IFRS9 is highly desirable.

Compensation

• Hourly rate (B2B): 160–170 PLN/h
