Digital Product Owner - Data Enablement & Ingestion

Location: Hybrid work model (2-3 days per week onsite, Wrocław)

Start Date: ASAP / within 1 month

The Data Enablement Factory plays a critical role in delivering data sources to the enterprise Data Platform, including activities such as data classification and lineage management.

As a Digital Product Owner, you will be a key member of an Agile Team, responsible for defining user stories, prioritizing work, and managing the Team Backlog. You will coordinate a stable team on a day to day basis while representing the Data Replication & Ingestion department across selected business domains. You will act as the primary point of contact for all data ingestion and data enablement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the ingestion of data sources and ensure they are delivered on time and aligned with business use case requirements

• Manage a portfolio of several ingestion projects

• Drive data classification activities in line with enterprise strategy

• Document, structure, and perform data lineage activities

• Ensure data flows are maintained and production SLAs respected, including direct incident management when needed

• Manage risks and report progress, providing clear and concise updates to management and escalating issues when required

• Contribute to industrialization, standardization and automation of activities to build the Data Enablement Factory

• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across business, data science and analytics for all ingestion, classification and lineage activities

• Act as a leader for team members, aligning business priorities with their motivation and empowering them towards autonomy

• Support other teams in using tools and processes

  
  

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of development methodologies and best practices including development lifecycle, testing and CI/CD

• Strong understanding of data integration tools such as ETL, APIs and replication mechanisms

• Good knowledge of the Azure Cloud ecosystem

• Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps

• Proven experience in data integration and ingestion within Cloud environments

• Experience in operational management of team members

• Pragmatic and result oriented approach

• Basic understanding of Scrum and the SAFe Agile Framework
