Databricks Data Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Building and maintaining ETL workflows to process large datasets from various sources.
• Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to ensure efficient data delivery and analysis.
• Implementing and managing data lake and data warehouse solutions.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through automated testing and validation.
• Monitoring and optimizing performance of data workflows and pipelines.
• Working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) to manage infrastructure for big data processing.
• Documenting solutions and sharing best practices with the team.

What We Expect:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Python (or Scala).
• Experience with data lake and data warehouse architectures (e.g., Delta Lake, Snowflake).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure Data Services (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
• Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in handling large-scale datasets and performance optimization.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Kafka, Airflow, or similar tools for data orchestration.
