Data Governance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to play a key role in building a strong foundation for secure, scalable, and high-quality data usage across next-generation technology initiatives. In this role, you will define and implement governance frameworks that enable innovation while ensuring compliance, security, and control. 

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement data governance frameworks including ownership, standards, and decision-making processes

• Design and enforce data control mechanisms such as classification, access control, auditability, and retention

• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to embed governance and security into data platforms and solutions

• Establish and monitor data quality rules, issue management processes, and remediation workflows

Expectations:

• Strong experience in data governance, data security, or data risk management roles

• Solid knowledge of data control frameworks including access management, classification, and policy-based governance

• Experience implementing data quality standards and monitoring approaches

• Ability to translate regulatory, security, and policy requirements into practical processes and controls

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance governance rigor with delivery speed
