Business Analyst (Financial Services)

Hybrid work model: 1-2 days per week from office (Warsaw)

Responsibilities:

•  Preparing business and system specifications 

• Supporting the integration of banking systems 

• Participating in business and system testing activities 

• Cooperating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle 

• Conduct analyses, support testing (SIT/UAT) 

• Act as a subject matter expert in the area of Cards 
   

Requirements:

• Min. 2 years of experience in the role of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business 

• Systems Analyst in projects delivered for financial institutions (preferably within cards/payments area) 

• Experience working with card systems or card processing platforms (issuing or acquiring) 

• Domain knowledge of business areas in financial services (cards, payments, acquiring/issuing) 

• Very good understanding of card schemes and processes (e.g. authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks) 

• Knowledge of card network rules and standards (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, ISO8583) 

• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cards and payments 

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process 

• Understanding of clearing and settlement processes (transactions and merchants) 

• Ability to gather and organize business and technical requirements 

• Experience in preparing detailed business and technical specifications and cooperating with IT, compliance, and business teams 

• Strong analytical skills 

• Excellent English and Polish communication skills (written & spoken) required
