Job description

Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server System Engineer / developer with advanced PowerShell, Python, and Ansible skills, experienced in working with development practices (source control, remote development on Linux servers, CI/CD pipelines, etc.).

Your Team:

Our mission is to design, implement, and maintain standardized Windows server images and hosts for use across Euroclear IT. We ensure these systems are secure, reliable, and consistent with industry best practices and standards. We also provide guidance and support to other teams for their applications and services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions to maintain the Windows park.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to get high-level design papers approved.

  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, autonomy, and accountability.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to operating systems (Windows 2012 to Windows 2025).

Your Profile:

  • Expertise in Microsoft and network ecosystems.

  • Ability to write clear and precise documentation and design documents.

  • Must-have advanced development skills in:

    • Ansible (including playbook development and automation workflows) 

    • PowerShell (scripting and automation) a plus

  • Advanced development knowledge in:

    • Python

    • GIT

    • Remote development on Linux machines

    • Visual Studio Code (VS Code)

    • Azure DevOps (CI/CD)

  • Proficiency in the following products:

    • Active Directory

    • Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

    • Server Operating Systems

    • Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

    • VMware

  • General knowledge of using and creating APIs.

  • Appreciate technical challenges while considering customer needs and requirements.

  • Be methodical, organized, and proactive.

  • Embrace new technologies and products while sharing current expertise with team members.

  • Be a team player who values teamwork but can work independently.

  • Be open to change and evolution.

  • Have working experience in an Agile context.

  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines and handling complex situations.

  • Fluent in English.
