This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of Euroclear’s IT ecosystem, ensuring the reliability and evolution of mission-critical systems. You will collaborate with experts, contribute to high-impact projects, and develop expertise in mainframe integration and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
Proceed with impact analysis and deployment of applications within test, pre-production and production mainframe environments.
Guarantee the quality control and implement the following components and deliverables:
Scheduling definitions (CA7, XPS, IWS)
Operation scripts (JCL, REXX, ISPF...)
Operational procedures (stop, start, restart of mainframe application)
Environment delivery (from test to production) and lifecycle management
Participate in the definition of guidelines and policies and develop and maintain standard procedures for integrating new/updated components and applications in the infrastructure.
Design, develop, make, enhance and maintain supporting tooling, test environment management tools and impact analysis tools.
Provide second-level support for production operations, ensuring timely delivery and integration of business applications while safeguarding production stability).
Participate in Production Watch Duty (weekly rotation) and occasional weekend work for releases and changes of delivery.
Provide support to test execution acting as first level support for the environment infrastructure
Complexity & problem solving: Handling standard situation by relying on existing procedures and methods, covering several but known domains of expertise and non-standard situations by connecting to experts in the related domains.
Decision making: Relying on existing processes and policies to make decisions.
Autonomy and leadership: Working autonomously on standard activities or non-complex demands. Organizing, coordinating and planning for activities independently. Priorities are set by the job. Using expertise to challenge the goals and scope of new requests and evaluates the impact of these new requirements
Qualifications:
You have strong knowledge in Mainframe Z/OS operating systems, development or engineering.
You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
You have strong scheduler knowledge (CA-7; IWS;...).
You have proven experience in programming/scripting languages (JCL, ISFP, REXX, SQL, PL/I, SAS…)
Additional IT mainframe knowledge is a plus.

Continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in English.

About the Team
Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
