Senior Software Engineer (SAP ABAP FPSL)

How you will get the job done

• designing, developing and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions in line with architecture and coding standards

• developing reporting functionalities using CDS Views and optimizing CDS data models

• building and executing unit tests and supporting business testing

• analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and production issues

• providing technical support, monitoring and maintenance

• preparing technical documentation and supporting system releases and upgrades (SPDD, SPAU, SAP Notes)

• configuring and maintaining CVPM processes in SAP FPSL

• implementing and monitoring data flow between SDL and RDL

• developing high-performance solutions using AMDP and HANA SQLScript (code push-down approach)

• performing performance tuning and root cause analysis

• designing and monitoring process chains and background jobs (SM37) for automation
  

Skills and experience you will need

• strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills (English B2+)

• 8+ years of experience as SAP ABAP Developer (modern ABAP)

• strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)

• experience with SAP HANA, SQLScript, AMDP, CDS Views

• knowledge of performance optimization and database push-down techniques

• understanding of financial processes and subledger accounting

• knowledge of IFRS 9 / IFRS 17 and banking or insurance domain

• experience with SAP FI (tables, structures, programming)

• experience in incident management and production support

• degree in Computer Science / IT or related field

Nice to have

• knowledge of SAP FPSL and CVPM

• experience with SAP Fiori, SAP FAM, SAP BTP

• experience with BizTalk
