About the role

As a Product Owner, you will define the product vision and oversee the development of our advanced IT solutions. You will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders, Project Management, Architects, and the Development Team, ensuring that our products deliver maximum business value. Your leadership will guide the product roadmap, and your strong technical understanding will help translate complex client needs into a clear, actionable product backlog for scalable enterprise systems. 

How you will get the job done

• monitoring IT product definitions (both final products and MVPs), identifying customer needs regarding product development, and translating them into Product Backlog items with future reusability in mind 

• ensuring the Product Backlog is available, transparent, and clear to everyone, showing what the Development Team will work on next based on business value and technical debt 

• defining the Definition of Done (DoD) and Definition of Ready (DoR), while ensuring the Development Team understands the backlog items to the required degree 

• collaborating closely with stakeholders, Project Management, and Architects to agree on the planned scope of product development expressed in the roadmap to deliver complex, multi-product solutions 

• supervising product development 

• building a comprehensive product knowledge base, creating product documentation and presentations, and communicating product status to stakeholders, peers, and executive management 

• executing other delegated tasks within your scope of competence and creating copyrighted works as part of your duties, in accordance with applicable copyright laws 

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English and Polish 

• strong technical understanding to effectively collaborate with development teams and system architects 

• strong decision-making and analytical thinking abilities to solve complex problems and deal with ambiguity 

• proven stakeholder management skills and feeling comfortable when dealing with senior decision-makers 

• excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively share product knowledge 

• visionary thinking paired with a strong customer-oriented mindset 

• a collaborative, team-player attitude 

Nice to have

• German language proficiency 

• working experience in agile (Scrum) methodology  

• basic understanding of FinTech/InsurTech industry
