How you will get the job done

• leading IT product management in supporting Life and Health business units, with a focus on Biometric and Pricing businesses

• collaborating closely with Business Product Owners to manage the product backlog, developing the product roadmap, and ensuring alignment with business strategies

• managing the relationship and working closely with the Application Management Services (AMS) team to provide product operations and support

• taking responsibility for change, incident, and release management following IT service standards

• ensuring all security, risk, and compliance tasks are completed on time

• managing projects as required and leading small enhancement projects with the product team 

• making sure that records are kept up to date in accordance with internal systems and processes such as CMDB, Enterprise Architecture Management, Identity Access Management, and others

• taking responsibility for the fiscal management of the product portfolio, including costs, budgets, and resource allocations

• coordinating product and project activities in accordance with internal and external partners

• supporting audits and maintaining thorough documentation for smooth operations 

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in Business English

• a university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar qualification

• good understanding of reinsurance, preferably with experience managing Pricing and Biometric applications

• hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, SQL, cloud computing, and Azure DevOps

• demonstrated knowledge and experience with Product and Project Management, including financial and stakeholder management

• experience with ITIL processes to collaborate with infrastructure, operations, solution, and technical architecture

• ability to run product enhancements or development projects

• familiarity with analytical and concept work regarding complex application operation landscapes and architectures

• assertiveness, self-organized, and proactive attitude

• target-orientation and willingness to learn

• distinct planning, organizational, and negotiation skills, as well as good mediator skills

• knowledge of the entire software development, product, and project life cycles acquired in various positions (project management, requirements engineering, consulting, etc.)

Nice to have

• German language proficiency

• business analysis skills

• familiarity with Scrum methodology
