Senior Mendix Developer

We are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer to join one of our newest projects from scratch.

Our client is a leading company in maritime digital transformation, using decades of tech expertise to improve efficiency and promote sustainability. Their platform and services are designed to modernize maritime operations, bringing them to the level of industries like aerospace and automotive.

You can work remotely or join one of our offices located in Kraków, Wrocław, Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk, Poznań and Katowice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of applications using the Mendix low-code platform and custom development tools

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure API integrations to seamlessly connect systems, applications, and data sources

• Develop advanced Java solutions to support custom application features, backend logic, and integrations

• Design and optimize workflow automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and minimize manual effort

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and optimal performance

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers by fostering a culture of continuous learning, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guideline

• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, recommending adoption where appropriate, and contribute to strategic planning, including system architecture, technology stack decisions, and long-term technical roadmaps

• Document technical designs, processes, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing, maintainability, and clear team alignment

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives

  
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Mendix or other low-code platforms (3+ years), with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications

• Proficiency in Java programming, with strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and industry best practices

• Strong expertise in API development (REST, SOAP) and integration of complex systems

• Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and data modeling for large-scale applications

• Proficient in workflow process automation, with knowledge of tools, techniques, and best practices

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges efficiently

• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
