Senior Backend Developer (Go)

We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in Go to join our team, where you will design and maintain scalable, high-performance services, collaborate across teams, and contribute to engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers and address their requests promptly

• Create and maintain unit and automated testing infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and performant services

• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess broader impacts of design decisions

• Review code to ensure high-quality standards and share expertise

• Create, own, or evaluate technical design proposals and proof of concepts

• Advocate for engineering best practices and drive superior engineering standards

• Enhance operational excellence by rigorously testing, monitoring, and documenting systems and code

• Participate in on-call rotations to support system health

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience programming with Go

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• Expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices (preferably AWS)

• Competency in SQL, databases, and Postgres

• Passion for code quality, best practices, continuous delivery, and automated testing

• Flexibility to adapt and work as a polyglot, using tools and technologies suitable for various jobs

• Capability to collaborate directly with customers with minimal supervision

• English proficiency at B2 or higher

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python, gRPC, and GraphQL
