Intermediate Application Developer

As an Intermediate Application Developer based in Warsaw, you will join a diverse community and work as a member of one of our cross-functional agile scrum teams responsible for the development of the market Number #1 Distributed Control System, which is DeltaV.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Create, modify, and fix DeltaV modules adhering to requirements, standards, and specifications while employing best practices to develop high-quality code.
• Debug and validate software issues in both unreleased products and those encountered by customers in supported DeltaV versions.
• Write automated unit and system-level tests to enhance our automation pipeline and ensure a release-ready product.
• Foster a creative atmosphere by reviewing and providing detailed feedback on peers' design and code.
• Participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation or a related engineering field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience developing applications using C++ , MFC and/or WinForms.
• Experience in creating system integrated OLE, COMM, DCOMM solutions. 
• Experience working with an existing code base using Git.
• Polish and English language proficiency (at least B2 level).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

• Experience with a Distributed Control System will be a great asset. 
• Experience with C#, .NET and/or WPF will be a great addition.
• Experience with Azure or another CI/CD platform is a plus. 
• Experience using MS VisualStudio and/or VS Code will be a benefit. 
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team.
