Business Central Release Manager

Embla Medical (Össur) is seeking an ambitious individual to help us keep our ERP business systems running smoothly and reliably, supporting our teams and customers around the world. 

You will play a key part in making sure our core business software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) is stable, secure, and up to date. This system helps us manage everything from finance to supply chain, and your work will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver high-quality products and services. 

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee how new features and updates are delivered to our business systems, ensuring changes are safe and reliable. 

• Coordinate the steps needed to move new software from development to live use, making sure everything is tested and works as expected. 

• Find ways to make our processes more efficient, using automation to reduce manual work and prevent errors. 

• Set up checks and tests so that problems are caught early, before they affect our teams or customers. 

• Monitor the health of our systems, quickly addressing any issues to keep things running smoothly. 

• Work with others to keep our systems up to date, making sure upgrades happen with minimal disruption. 

• Collaborate with solution architects and software developers to ensure development follows established processes and standards. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with business software systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar). 

• Understanding of how to deliver software updates and improvements in a safe and reliable way. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• A problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn. 

• Good communication skills and proficiency in English. 

• University degree or equivalent experience—if you’ve gained your skills through work or self-study, we value that too.
