Workplace Interior Designer
The Workplace Experience team (WorkplaceX) enables the employees to do their best work by delivering an inspiring and frictionless workplace. We are looking for an outstanding Workplace Interior Designer to join our Design & Build team that transforms our offices globally.
You will take part of the full lifecycle of Workplace Design;
Work closely with and support the Workplace Design Lead with improvements and documentation of our design strategies.
Update and evolve internal guidelines and standards for Workplace Design & Build projects.
Produce spatial test fits both independently and with direction from the Workplace Design Lead, working on new locations, for office space showing initial program requirements. You will help to produce due diligence reports to support the Real Estate team for commercial office fit outs to aid the evaluation of building choice thoroughly.
Produce documents such as a program of requirements for new offices, incorporating interview and survey notes from local and global stakeholders, assisting Workplace Build project teams in preparing and delivering effective and persuasive presentations to internal stakeholders.
Work closely with our internal project managers on project support and design input, and with our external architects, consultants and contractors.
Contribute to the team focusing on construction and delivery of Project, supporting with development of design information.
As part of the Workplace Design & Build team you will aid in ensuring design quality through the design phases and construction process while assisting project managers in managing design change effectively by understanding requirements clearly.
Produce plans based on existing offices to optimize space and enable efficient layouts
Be able to design small packages of design, working with our design lead and project managers to understand needs, being able to produce construction drawings and specifications with coordination of MEP.
Produce design presentations to outline design solutions and get buy-ins from various stakeholders across the organization.
Continuous Improvements
Look for opportunities to increase efficiencies and speed up processes across the Design & Build process and assist local offices to define areas for improvement projects with drawings and specification of suitable furniture.
Produce plans based on existing offices to optimize space and enable more efficient layouts.
Experienced: 5+ years of meaningful work experience within an Interior architectural or Architectural Practice, working with commercial and office fit out with a good understanding of the design process including cost-effective design.
Technical: Proficient in drawing & presentation programs such as Archicad, Autocad and Indesign, Photoshop, etc. Being able to produce interior testfit, detail drawings and joinery drawings independently.
Global Mindset: Experience of working in a variety of countries, enjoy working within an international team.
Problem solver: You have strong design abilities and are a proactive problem solver.
Communicator: Proficient in spoken and written English with the ability to establish strong and sustainable working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Length: 15 months.
Location: Stockholm - 3 days per week onsite. plus willing to travel.
