VMware vRealize Automation Developer

Location: 3 city areas of Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Warsaw

Hybrid model: 2 days a week working from the office

Job Type: Full-time / Contract / B2B

Salary: up to 170 PLN/h net + VAT

About the Role:We are looking for a skilled VMware vRealize Automation Developer to join our dynamic, multinational team focused on modernizing automation across our organization. You will play a key role in transitioning from an internal workflow automation tool to VMware vRealize Automation v8, developing new activity elements, building workflows, and integrating with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance custom activity elements and workflows within vRealize Orchestrator and Cloud Assembly

• Guide and mentor junior developers in VMware vRA best practices

• Assist in the setup and configuration of the vRealize Automation platform

• Build seamless integrations between vRA and other applications/systems

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions based on detailed documentation and requirements

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in workflow automation and developing XaaS services

• Strong hands-on expertise with VMware vRealize Automation 8.x, especially vRealize Orchestrator

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices

• Experience working with Atlassian products, especially Bitbucket and Jira

• Understanding of YAML and JSON configurations

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Node.js and experience with self-service portals or content management systems

• Experience working in geographically distributed teams
