Summary: We are currently looking for an experienced Visitor Experience Consultant to support a prestigious Expo 2030 Riyadh initiative, leading the visitor experience strategy for millions of attendees across physical and digital touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities:
- Defining the visitor experience strategy across discovery, planning, ticketing, arrival, navigation, engagement, and post-visit phases.
- Developing technology and digital strategy for visitor ecosystems, including smart companion apps, ticketing, personalization, and AI-driven services.
- Designing seamless visitor journeys for international visitors, VIPs, families, school groups, and people of determination.
- Defining requirements for smart companion apps including itinerary planning, live updates, recommendations, and digital concierge capabilities.
- Leading strategy for wayfinding, navigation, congestion-aware routing, and location-aware services.
- Developing frameworks for personalization, gamification, social engagement, accessibility, and multilingual experiences.
- Assessing vendor landscape across ticketing platforms, visitor apps, recommendation engines, navigation technologies, accessibility solutions, and AI-enabled engagement tools.
- Supporting vendor evaluation, procurement activities, and implementation partner selection.
Key Requirements:- Prior Expo or mega-event experience (World Expo, Olympics, FIFA, Formula 1, Hajj-scale operations, etc.).
- Strong experience in visitor experience, guest journey design, destination technology, or digital experience leadership.
- Proven background in visitor journey orchestration and physical-digital integration.
- Experience evaluating technologies for high-volume public-facing ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of ticketing systems, personalization tools, AI-enabled visitor services, and wayfinding technologies.
Nice to Have:- Experience in large events, airports, theme parks, destinations, or cultural venues.
