Summary

The role of the Senior SAP CPI Expert is to ensure robust integration delivery within an organization, focusing on quality assurance, knowledge reuse, and mentoring of developers while facilitating collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Work model: Remote but 4-6 times per month work from office in Warsaw

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior SAP CPI Expert, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of integration initiatives through effective leadership and governance.

• Quality assurance & governance: Ensure robust integration delivery through strong QA practices and governance of build standards.

• Knowledge reuse: Promote reuse of existing integration assets and patterns across business initiatives.

• Delivery assurance: Ensure integration initiatives are executed on time by removing blockers and driving progress to completion.

• Team enablement: Mentor developers to uplift integration maturity and overall technical excellence.

• Flow-oriented collaboration: Facilitate effective ways of working using Kanban boards and pull-based task models.

• Stakeholder engagement: Serve as a point of contact for integration and backlog topics, collaborating with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and Integration Leads.

• Innovation leadership: Support enterprise modernization through proof-of-concepts, demos, and exposure to emerging technologies.

• Operational collaboration: Work closely with the Operations team to identify improvement areas, optimize integration flows, and ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.

Key Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in middleware development or integration architecture.

• Expertise in SAP CPI.

• Knowledge of iPAAS platform SAP CPI, MFT, APIs, and CI/CD / DevOps tooling for SAP CPI.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English (written and oral).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Solace / SAP Advanced Event Mesh.

• Experience within manufacturing or enterprise IT environments.

• Ability to coach teams and drive a strategic delivery culture.

• Continuous improvement mindset.
