Senior Project / Program Manager – Information Security & Governance

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced freelance Project / Program Manager to support a strategic information security and governance programme focused on compliance, organisational implementation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive information security, governance, and compliance-related projects and initiatives

• Take ownership of ongoing initiatives and ensure successful implementation across the organisation

• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making processes

• Establish and maintain governance structures, reporting frameworks, and implementation plans

• Coordinate activities across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders

• Drive communication, training, and change management activities

• Manage risks, dependencies, progress, and stakeholder expectations

• Support management with prioritisation, reporting, and decision-making

• Ensure successful handover of project deliverables into operational processes

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager

• Documented experience with governance, compliance, or transformation programmes

• Experience within information security, cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance-related initiatives

• Experience with NIS2, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks

• Strong experience with organisational implementation and change management

• Experience with roadmap planning, reporting, and governance frameworks

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent in written and spoken Danish

Other Details:

• Location: Randers (onsite presence approximately 3 days per week)

• Estimated Start: August 2026

• Duration: Approx. 8–9 months with possible extension
