Senior/Expert Applications Designer/Architect (IT BA) in IT Solution

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Expert Applications Designer/Architect for our client’s IT Solution team. This role demands expertise in translating complex business requirements into effective IT solutions within the logistics and supply chain sector. The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in application design, strong technical abilities, and proven leadership in project delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to deliver IT solutions.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Act as Technical Lead/IT workstream coordinator for customer implementations.

• Oversee solution design and ensure project delivery within timelines.

• Drive standards in Customer Solutions to optimize quality and cost.

• Communicate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

• Over 10 years of relevant work experience, particularly in logistics IT.

• 5-10 years of experience in complex IT solutions (e.g., SCM, ERP).

• Proficiency in supply chain management principles.

• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools and Test Management platforms.

• Familiarity with EDI standards and system integration.

Other Details:

This is a full-time position based in Mexico City, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The contract duration is for 12 months, starting as soon as possible. The role may involve fewer days in the office after an initial period, subject to discussion with management.
