Senior Data Protection Engineer

• Rate: up to 170 PLN/H netto + VAT/B2B

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Data Protection Engineer r to support MS SQL backup migrations into PPDM. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in backup software and hardware, particularly with Dell PPDM and Data Domain. This role involves overseeing migration plans, configuration, and troubleshooting, ensuring a comprehensive approach to data protection solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

The core duties of this position include administering and managing migration plans for new databases. Key responsibilities include:

• Support backup solution migration projects from an engineering perspective.

• Perform end-to-end PPDM administration.

• Configure and set up protection plans.

• Monitor and troubleshoot incidents.

• Implement pre- and post-migration actions.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with backup software and hardware.

• Extensive knowledge of Dell PPDM and Data Domain.

• Hands-on experience as a backup service provider to database platforms.

• Senior expertise in Dell data protection solutions.

• Understanding of database operations and backup services.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Certification in Dell data protection products (a significant plus).
