Senior AI Developer – Azure AI Projects

About the Opportunity 

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Developer to support the design and deployment of next-generation AI solutions within a cutting-edge innovation team. The role is focused on leveraging Azure’s AI ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Search, to deliver real business value. 

You’ll be working alongside a talented cross-functional team of developers, data scientists, and AI engineers to accelerate digital transformation for our client. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and refine AI applications using Azure services 
• Collaborate closely with team members to co-develop scalable AI-driven features 
• Create and manage APIs to integrate AI models into broader systems 
• Deploy AI solutions using containerized infrastructure (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to best practices across the team 
• Monitor and optimize system performance and scalability 
• Stay current with AI innovations, tools, and frameworks 

Required Skills & Experience 

• Solid commercial experience with Python and .NET 
• Hands-on expertise with Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI 
• Proven experience in API development and integration 
• Familiarity with deploying containerized applications 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset 
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments 

Bonus Skills 

• Experience working with React and TypeScript 
• Previous involvement in short-term AI consulting or pilot projects
